Worker’s Compensation
Worker’s compensation is a form of insurance that replaces lost wages and pays for medical and chiropractic care for people injured on the job. It typically covers a number of injuries that can happen to nearly any worker. These injuries may occur as a result of a slip and fall accident, tripping over a hazard or on an unsafe surface, or falling off a ladder. For some workers, workers’ compensation will cover injuries that happen while the worker is driving or traveling as part of his or her work duties.
Musculoskeletal disorders affect a person’s muscles, bones, joints and connective tissue, such as tendons and ligaments.
A number of musculoskeletal disorders can keep a worker off the job, including:
- Sprains, strains, and tears
- Back pain
- Neck pain
- Carpal tunnel syndrome and other repetitive stress injuries
- Headaches and migraines
Sports Injury
Sports can be very taxing on your body, no matter what you play. Our trusted staff will work with you to get to the root of your problem and help you feel better again. We help treat and also prevent injuries in the neck, back, shoulders, knees, and ankles. We are able to manually adjust your spine, relieving any pain that you are feeling. This will allow your body to function much better after the injury.
Auto Injuries
Even a “minor” crash can result in serious injuries like ligament sprains. This can lead to chronic pain and disability if not treated properly. In fact, research shows that early treatment is the best way to prevent long-term symptoms. Chiropractic adjustments are effective because they help restore the healthy, normal function of your nervous system without the use of drugs or surgery.
Personal Injury
Our goal is to help you receive the proper care after a personal injury, auto accident or fall. Our staff is devoted to helping you obtain the most comprehensive treatments and the care you deserve, so you may maintain your quality of life after an injury and can begin to feel like yourself again.
Too often, individuals involved in an auto injury or wreck have minimal or no symptoms until several weeks after the auto accident. That is where the professionals at Onepoint Chiropractic & Massage Therapy come in, and can assist you with all aspects of auto accident personal injury recovery.
Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a beautiful life experience. However, a woman’s body goes through enormous changes during pregnancy. Mothers can develop poor posture and more than 50% of pregnant women experience low back pain due to ligament laxity and a shifted center of gravity. Chiropractic care can help optimize pregnancy and protect the health of the mother and unborn baby. It also allows for a shorter labor, ideal positioning of the baby in the womb, and less of a chance for invasive practices during the birthing process.
Here at Onepoint Chiropractic & Massage Therapy, we offer a conservative approach to treating pregnant women. Our prenatal care is gentle and safe. We aim to alleviate the stress and strains of pregnancy while improving comfort for both the mother and baby. We understand the physical changes that come with pregnancy, and we offer relief without using any drugs. Some other benefits of prenatal chiropractic care include:
- Better sleep
- Less physical and emotional stress
- Shorter and less painful labor
- Decreased swelling in the feet
- Elimination of back pain and sciatica
- Increased energy
- Less digestive issues
- Reductions in reflux and morning sickness
According to the American Chiropractic Association, chiropractic care has been shown to hold a greater benefit for pregnant patients than traditional obstetric care alone. Educating these patients as a part of their treatment plan helps inform and empower them to better understand what is happening within their bodies and better communicate with their healthcare providers. A recent study found that more than 75 percent of pregnant women experience pregnancy-related low back pain, pelvic pain, or a combination. This pain increases as pregnancy progresses, making the second and third trimesters very uncomfortable. Chiropractic care is a safe, effective, and drug-free way to manage pain and other musculoskeletal symptoms during pregnancy.

The Webster Technique
What is the Webster Technique?
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment for pregnant women. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is facilitated. Onepoint Chiropractic & Massage Therapy is happy to be certified in the Webster Technique.
Chiropractic care in pregnancy is becoming more popular as women are discovering the many benefits associated with chiropractic care during pregnancy and childbirth. It is vital to the physiological function for both the mother and baby throughout pregnancy and birth. The Webster Technique assists in making this process a smoother transition.
It is extremely gentle, safe and effective.
Is the Webster Technique able to re-position babies in the womb?
The Webster Technique is not a baby-turning technique. There are no direct external forces used on the baby.
What are the benefits of the Webster Technique during pregnancy?
Sacral subluxations may contribute to difficult labor for the mother known as dystocia. This can be caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction or baby mal-presentation. By correcting all of these areas throughout pregnancy, it can have a positive effect on the causes of dystocia. According to the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics (2002), an 82% success rate is seen by Webster Technique Certified Chiropractors who work with mothers with babies presenting breech or transverse. Another added benefit of utilizing this technique during pregnancy is a greater chance of your child being in the proper position for childbirth.
Here at Onepoint Chiropractic & Massage Therapy, we value the health of you and your baby and want to be a part of your journey during this beautiful life experience. We recognize the importance of a child’s well-being which begins in pregnancy. If you or someone you know is interested in pregnancy care, call us today at (425) 502-9114.
